Barcelona, November 21, 2024 — Last Thursday, CIM UPC hosted the event “3D in Pediatric Oncology: Transforming Cancer Care through Innovation!”, organized by Sant Joan de Déu Hospital Barcelona. The event brought together professionals in oncology and additive manufacturing to explore how this technology can transform pediatric cancer care.
In the morning, several presentations highlighted the latest advancements in 3D design and its applications in personalized treatments, such as surgical planning and the creation of anatomical models to enhance diagnosis and clinical training.
