CIM UPC Celebrates 35 Years of Innovation and Commitment to Industry and Education
Barcelona, February 25, 2025 – Last week, CIM UPC kicked off the celebration of its 35th anniversary with a special event that brought together key figures from its history, as well as members of its business and technology community. This commemoration not only highlighted the center’s legacy and trajectory but also reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and the development of the industrial and educational sectors.
The event began with a warm institutional welcome by José María Cabrera (General Director of CIM UPC), Daniel Crespo (Rector of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – UPC) and M. del Carmen Pretel Sánchez (Deputy Director General of Universities). During their speeches, the speakers emphasized the importance of CIM UPC as a benchmark in technology and education and its role in the evolution of Industry 4.0 in Catalonia and beyond.
