Purpose

The purpose of the course is for the student to know the operation, characteristics, benefits, limitations and areas of application of digital manufacturing technologies, concentrating on 3D printing, both for applications in the professional field and business as in the private sector.

THowever, work will be done to understand the different additive manufacturing technologies and processes, and to be able to make implementation decisions in the development of a product in the company.

Objectives

The main objective of the course is to acquire knowledge about the operation and use of a professional FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) desktop 3D printer, in order to learn how to obtain parts, products, tooling and prototypes.

Who is the target audience?

It is aimed at professionals who want to enter the world of 3D digital design and manufacturing.

It is also aimed at professionals who need to consider, implement or work with additive manufacturing processes (3D printing) in their companies to obtain parts and prototypes during product development.
