3DCONS
3DCONS is based on the introduction of 3D printing technologies into the construction industry, new buildings, rehabilitation, and heritage restoration. It focuses on the development of new construction processes and materials that integrate 3D printing systems.
The 3DCONS project faces major technological challenges for the construction sector such as: new types of “printable” materials with specific application and performance requirements; development of new technologies for direct printing on vertical elements like existing façades and “custom-made” prefabricated printing; new design paradigms in new construction and rehabilitation.
