Education for Zero Energy Buildings using Building Information Modelling - BIMzeED
BIMzeED is a European project aimed at improving the training of professionals in the construction sector in digital technologies (BIM) and nearly zero-energy buildings (nZEB). Through the development of innovative training modules, it aims to promote technical and digital skills to adapt the sector to new environmental and technological challenges.
Although the project is based on previous experiences, it requires a clearer needs analysis and a more concrete approach on how it will bring real innovation. Nevertheless, its potential to add value to universities and companies, as well as its alignment with European policies on training and sustainability, is acknowledged.
