SARA - Federated architecture for process management in discrete event manufacturing systems
This project seeks to build a new industrial ecosystem capable of capturing and organizing the dispersed collective knowledge in the industry, structuring it according to manufacturing characteristics to apply generative artificial intelligence. The aim is twofold: firstly, to increase the autonomy of production systems; secondly, to provide intelligent assistance to people in crucial decision-making.
This research aims to achieve the following general objectives:
- Organize collective knowledge, promoting continuous learning and allowing CAD-CAM systems to reuse knowledge autonomously.
- Promote autonomy and collaboration between humans and machines in the configuration and adjustment of production processes.
- To provide perception and autonomy for the diagnosis of the state of machinery and processes.
- Create a federated architecture for the management and control system of production units in discrete manufacturing environments.
