HINDCON
The HINDCON project aims to adapt manufacturing technologies to the construction sector, advance towards industrialization, and overcome approach limitations to introduce additive and subtractive manufacturing into construction activities.
The project aims to solve some significant issues in the sector such as the lack of flexibility in manufacturing processes, low productivity rates, and long manufacturing times for unique products, which negatively impact the costs of customized products.
To achieve this, the collaborating entities have developed and demonstrated a hybrid machine combining additive and subtractive technologies with mortar, bringing to the sector an innovative technology that reduces environmental impact while also lowering economic costs in high added-value products.
