MAGNECO - Innovation in Manufacturing Technologies with Eco-Sustainable Magnetic Materials

The objective of the project is to develop a comprehensive and sustainable approach for the manufacturing of permanent magnets from magnets that have reached the end of their useful life. This process includes the use of recovered and refurbished raw materials, as well as the incorporation of environmentally more efficient designs. Furthermore, the project aims to validate the technical and economic feasibility of this approach, advancing toward sustainable production of permanent magnets with multiple applications. All of this will contribute to mitigating the environmental impacts associated with traditional manufacturing of these devices, including the implementation of 3D printing technologies in the production process.
