MAGNECO - Innovation in Manufacturing Technologies with Eco-Sustainable Magnetic Materials

The aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive and sustainable approach to the manufacture of permanent magnets from magnets that have reached the end of their useful life. This process includes the use of recovered and reconditioned raw materials, as well as the incorporation of more environmentally efficient designs. In addition, it is intended to validate the technical and economic viability of this approach, moving towards a sustainable production of permanent magnets with multiple applications. All this will contribute to mitigating the environmental impacts associated with the traditional manufacture of these devices, including the implementation of 3D printing technologies in the production process.
